This competition organized under the aegis of the ASP (Association of Surfing Professionals) is open to the best longboarders in the world. 2008 TOP 16 surfers will take part in this long-awaited event, along with the two qualified surfers of each ASP region: Africa, Japan, Australia, Europe, Hawaii, North America, and South America.
